From 8th to 10th April 2025, KES Separation machinery attended OMC offshore oil conference in Ravenna Italy, where we met lots of key players presenting solutions and cutting-edge technology. We discussed about optimized solutions to solids control, drilling waste management, electrical modification solutions and offshore tanks.
1) Solids Control equipment and solutions
By presenting our jobsite case in Sterling global Nigeria, we make it clear to our customers how to optimize the layout and operations of solids control system. It usually required below equipment list for a complete solids control application.
- One (1) set of Vertical cuttings dryer for cuttings treatment and recovery
- Two (2) set of big bowl centrifuges for Mud weight reduce and barite recovery
- Several sets of screw conveyors for the transfer of drill cuttings;
- Several sets of pumps for the transfer of drilling fluids.
Compared with other solids control equipment supplier, we have many advantages to stand out. 2) Oil sludge separation unit
Traditional Solids control or drilling waste management equipment cannot work well to treat the oil sludge which is a mixture of oil, water and solids after storage for many years. We grasp the technology to handle the oil sludge in a efficient way. We can offer both demulsifier chemicals and engineering designed mechanical equipment to treat the oil sludge. After separation, we can help clients to achieve the efficiency separation of solids, oil and water.

3) Electrical modification solutions for drilling rig and workover rig
After OMC exhibition, we visited one land drilling contractor in Ravenna to discuss about the electrical solutions to modify some diesel driven mud pumps and diesel driven draw works to electrical VFD driven type.
The clients have 2sets land rigs and 1set workover rig, and we target on a fruitful collaboration in the coming months.

4) Offshore Tanks
