Recently, KES SEPARATION has shipped a refurbished Swaco518 centrifuge to Nigeria after completing comprehensive refurbishment and strict inspection procedures. This equipment is tailored for oilfield solids control, aiming to solve local drilling fluid treatment challenges and support the stable operation of oil drilling projects.
The refurbished Swaco518 centrifuge has undergone rigorous maintenance on core components to ensure reliable performance. KES SEPARATION’s technical team disassembled and cleaned key parts including the stainless steel bowl and scroll, repaired worn tungsten carbide scroll points, and conducted precision dynamic balance tests to guarantee smooth operation at high speeds. The unit was also sandblasted and repainted with corrosion-resistant paint, enabling it to withstand harsh outdoor oilfield conditions in Nigeria. Additionally, the electrical control system and gearbox were fully inspected and maintained to ensure stable functionality.
The refurbished Swaco 518 centrifuge maintains excellent performance parameters. It operates at speeds ranging from 1,900 to 3,250 rpm, generating centrifugal force up to 2,100G for efficient solids separation. With a 14-inch diameter bowl, the unit delivers stable processing capacity, perfectly matching the intensity of local oil drilling operations. Nigeria is a key oilfield market in Africa, with strong demand for reliable solids control equipment.
