KES Separation Provided On-Site Commissioning for Nigeria Solids Control

KES Separation recently arrived in Nigeria to provide on-site commissioning services for clients, successfully activating a full set of ordered solids control equipment after months of production, transportation, and customs clearance.

The collaboration traces back to August 2025, when the client placed an order for a range of solids control equipment, including centrifuge, vertical cutting dryer, screw pumps, screw conveyors, andhigh-G dryer. Following 2 months production and 2 months international logistics, the equipment arrived in Nigeria and completed customs clearance at the end of January 2026. As soon as the client finalized on-site preparations for commissioning, KESS departed promptly to deliver professional technical support, ensuring the smooth startup of the equipment.

The commissioning service spanned two days, start on the afternoon of the first day. However, unexpected rain and the generator malfunction forced an temporary suspension of the operations. Therefore KESS technical team returned to the client’s facility early the next morning to resume the commissioning. During the process, minor challenges emerged—such as equipment doesn’t work which caused by incorrect connection from generator to control box. Fortunately, KESS chief engineer, with rich on-site experience, identified and resolved the issue immediately, ensuring the workflow remained on track. By the end of the second day, all equipment can go smoothly, achieving full operational readiness as scheduled.

A local solids control engineer with over a decade of industry experience, who was present throughout the commissioning, spoke highly of the equipment, describing it as “perfect and well-constructed.” While acknowledging the equipment’s overall excellence, the engineer also shared valuable suggestions for potential improvements based on local operational needs and environmental conditions. KESS team expressed sincere gratitude for the constructive feedback. “We will carefully analyze these suggestions and continue to upgrade our products, striving to deliver even more tailored and reliable solutions to meet the diverse needs of global clients,” KESS team stated.

This successful commissioning not only strengthens the cooperative bond between KESS and the client but also demonstrates KES Separation commitment to providing end-to-end technical support. As the equipment enters formal operation, it is expected to enhance the client’s production efficiency significantly, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations in the African market.
